In this age of barbarism and endless war, brave citizens wielding aspis and spear no longer suffice to stem the tide of ruin. Gauls threaten the Greek cities of Asia, Roman barbarians already rule our brothers in the West, and Hellas itself is under the heel of Makedonian kings. We could be next. If our fair city is to survive, we MUST adapt!
