Who gets it: Athens
Strategoi: Honourable Archontes and Demos of Athens, we, the strategoi, propose to equip some of our soldiers with the oval Thureos shield.
Demos: What? Why? The shield of the Galatians, these treacherous Barbarians?
Strategoi: It is large and cheap to produce, cheaper than the Aspis, so more men can fight and no extra tax is needed.
Demos: No extra taxes and yet we will have more soldiers! Athena be praised, we agree!
Archontes: It is decided!
How to get it
It fires when at least 10 settlements are held by Athens.
The game checks this at the end of every round.
