Adoption of the Thureos

Who gets it: Pontus

Mighty lord of Cappadocia on the Pontos, Mithras praises you! Now that you have shown the Greeks on the coasts of the Pontos Euxeinos how powerful you are, the production of warships has begone. Our fleet has steadly grown and we have come to a point where we have decided to hire specialist soldiers who can fight aboard our triremes and penteres. Allow me to introduce this band of Galatians, they are brave and strong like all Gauls, but I have been assured that they do not fear the water and the waves. They are now ready to fight for you, my lord, and Pontos shall rule the waves.
