Who gets it: Seleucid Empire, Seleucid Rebels (Asia Minor) and Seleucid Rebels (Upper Satrapies)
Praise you Basileios, with good wishes from your people, Agathe Tyche. The Barbarians who call themselves Rhomaioi are ever expanding their realm. They are now threatening your grand kingdom, and the time has come to counter their endless swordsmen with a new weapon. Five thousand of our Argyraspides have been re-armed with chainmail shirts, the big oval shields of the Barbarians, straight swords, and javelins. In difference to the Rhomaioi, they are professional soldiers and will cut through them like a Xiphos through hot Syrian butter. King Seleukos be praised!
How to get it
It fires when a settlement anywhere on the map is Syria (once a campaign event has marked it) and at least 5 settlements that lie in Greece (24 regions) and whose owner is of Roman culture are on the map.
The game checks this at the end of every round.
