Baktrian Reforms
Who gets it: Bactria
Hail, Basileios! Together with our independence from the Seleucid Empire, the migration of Greek and Macedonian military settlers has also come to an end. If we want to survive, we have to rely on the natives to bolster the ranks of our army. Its true core and elite, however, will always continue to be made up of the epigonoi, literally meaning 'offspring' or 'sons' of the proud Greeks originally settled here by Alexander and Seleukos. Years have past since the revolt in the late 3rd century BC. The epigonoi have by now slowly come to replace your regular hellenistic units. Additionally, the last Greek incomers brought the large oval thureos shield with them, a shield that protects the whole body.
How to get it
It fires when at least 20 settlements are held by Bactria and it is turn 50 (258 BC) or later.
The game checks this at the end of every round.
