Polybian Reform
Who gets it: The House of Claudii, The House of Aemilii, The House of Cornelii and The Roman Senate; once it fires it applies to all of them at once
Hail, Consul! Decades of brutal warfare against Samnites, Gauls, and Carthaginians have shown the need for further military innovations. In response to these challenges, our armies are now being armed with the large oval scutum, the armor-piercing pilum, and the Iberian gladius. Our legions stand ready to defend the Republic and secure Roman hegemony across the Mediterranean.
