Polybian Reform

Polybian Reform

Who gets it: Rome, Rome, Rome and S.P.Q.R.; once it fires it applies to all of them at once

Hail, Consul! Decades of brutal warfare against Samnites, Gauls, and Carthaginians have shown the need for further military innovations. In response to these challenges, our armies are now being armed with the large oval scutum, the armor-piercing pilum, and the Iberian gladius. Our legions stand ready to defend the Republic and secure Roman hegemony across the Mediterranean.

How to get it

If you are playing Rome, Rome or S.P.Q.R.: it fires when at least 71 settlements are held by Rome, Rome and S.P.Q.R. between them.

The game checks this at the end of every round.
