Aeneas - The Tactician’s

Effects: +1 Siege Defence

Aineas Taktikos was a general who lived in the Classical times, although nobody is certain as to the exact dates of his birth and death, who wrote a number of treatises on the subject of warfare. Since Alexander, siege craft has evolved greatly, so one will not find in Aineas’ book the most useful counter-measures against wall-shattering ballistas or tunneling, but the wise general will heed his advice on how to deal with faction and treachery, as dangerous now as it had been in his times.

Discarding the humeral doctrine of Hippocrates, he founded his medical practice on a modification of the atomic or corpuscular theory. His ideas were likely partly derived from the atomic theory of the philosopher Democritus.
